Tareque Nasser Receives New Duensing Business Teaching Award

Tareque NasserWe’re excited to announce our newest faculty award, the Duensing Business Teaching Scholar Award, and our first recipient, Tareque Nasser, associate professor of finance.

“The inception of the Duensing Business Teaching Scholar award embodies the true spirit of education by strengthening the foundation of our college – the faculty. Thanks to the Duensing’s generous support, we are able to shape the minds and the futures of our graduates by rewarding excellent teachers like Dr. Nasser for his outstanding commitment to his students,” said Kevin Gwinner, Edgerley Family Dean of the College of Business.

“Julie and I are excited to be able to support continued excellence at the College of Business.” said Jim Duensing, ’81 K-State finance graduate. “Faculty like Tareque Nasser are a big part of what make the College such a special place. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with the College of Business and its faculty with this new award.”
