The program also ranks 15th nationally for veterans. This is the highest ranking achieved since the program was established in 2013.

“I am very pleased with the PMBA’s high ranking especially in light of the challenges the world has faced during these unprecedented times,” said Kevin Gwinner, Edgerley family dean of the College of Business Administration. “The PMBA program faculty and staff have continued to provide excellent services and maintain academic rigor to help students acquire knowledge valuable in advancing in their careers at an affordable price.”

According to Suzy Auten, Director of the PMBA Program, “Our program was designed for professionals with at least three years of post-baccalaureate work experience who wish to earn their degrees online while simultaneously continuing to excel in their careers.” Students can graduate with a general management master’s degree or add concentrations in accounting, data analytics, finance, marketing and supply chain management. The program’s quality is evidenced by the prestigious accreditation from the internationally recognized Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) which has been awarded to fewer than 5% of programs worldwide in 53 countries. “Students receive instruction from the same faculty who are teaching our campus students. These faculty are actively engaged in research which keeps the content current and immediately applicable to each student’s day-to-day work life.”

“This high ranking of the PMBA program illustrates the continuous commitment of our faculty to provide the best quality education for students,” said Chwen Sheu, associate dean for academic programs and Faculty of Distinction/Paul Edgerley chair in Business Administration. “The College of Business is currently developing a micro-credential program, which will add value to the PMBA program. The introduction of micro-credentialing and badging opportunities for our current students and our industry partners will further enhance the educational and professional opportunities available to graduate program and executive education participants.” Past graduates can upskill by joining industry peers in earning micro-credentials that will give them an edge in a competitive work environment.

In an effort to enhance diversity and provide a variety of global business perspectives, the PMBA program recently launched a campaign to attract students from abroad. This complements the international business experience that takes students to destinations around the globe for up to two weeks to learn about strategic decision-making from C-suite executives in multinational corporations. The cultural excursions and immersive engagement opportunities allow students to understand the global nature of the business world.

The program has a rolling admission with five starts each year in January, March, June, August and October. Applications are due at least one month before the desired start date. To learn more about the program or to apply, visit www.k-state.edu/onlinemba.
