College of Business Recognized by U.S. News & World Report
The College of Business was recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report for its 2024 Best Online Programs rankings in multiple categories:
- No. 9 Graduate Business Programs: MS-Data Analytics & MAcc (No. 3 for Veterans)
- No. 18 Online MBA Program (known as Professional MBA) (No. 16 for Veterans)
- No. 23 Bachelor in Business Programs
For these rankings, U.S. News evaluated schools based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies.

College of Business Extends AACSB Accreditation
The College of Business has recently earned extended business and accounting accreditation from AACSB International (AACSB). Achieving AACSB accreditation requires a committed, mission-driven strategy, involving a comprehensive review of internal operations and a peer-reviewed assessment focused on continuous improvement.

Professor, CBA Faculty Fellow, Ike Ehie Reimagines Strategies for Global Business
In the years during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, Ehie has studied more than a thousand global companies to answer a key question: Does strategic alignment moderate the relationship between plant investment decisions and operational performance of a manufacturing company?
His research is featured in Seek Magazine.

Catch up with the Sales Team
The K-State Sales Team is in the College of Business Administration’s National Strategic Selling Institute, which has been named one of the top sales programs in the country for twelve straight years by the Sales Education Foundation. The team consists of students who are enrolled in the certificate or major in professional strategic selling. They have been busy this spring with competitions both local and on the road. College of Business Hosts Speakers for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week
Jennifer Simmons, Financial Consultant, and Adam Miller ’09, ’12, Head of DEIB; and spoke at the College of Business at the end of January during Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week. Both are employed by American Century Investments.
Miller and Simmons also spoke with students during a networking reception following the presentation. Every year K-State celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. King for an entire week.
AI Workshops Offered in College of Business
The College of Business is hosting a series of artificial intelligence literacy workshops for graduate students, faculty, and staff this spring. The first workshop, “Decrypting the World of AI,” was held Friday, February 23.
The next workshop, “AI/ChatGPT Applications in Classroom and Research,” will take place Friday, April 19, 11:30-1:00 in Business Building room 4001. Presenters are the Management Department’s Clarissa Steele and the Marketing Department’s Jo Lynn Stalnaker. This workshop will explore practical examples of using AI/ChatGPT in enhancing teaching, learning, and research. Click here to participate via zoom.
