You will want to apply for graduation in KSIS at the beginning of the semester you plan to graduate. You will also need to file a Program of Study with the Graduate School. Contact your academic advisor for help.
Kansas State University is fortunate because we are in the middle of everywhere - the university is centrally located between larger metropolitan cities with international industries as well as agricultual hubs. Salaries vary widely dependent on location and industry, but our graduates command competitive salaries wherever they go. Our recent graduates are reporting starting salaries ranging from $50,000 - 80,000.
Currently, we do not require the GMAT/GRE for any programs. If your GPA is below a 3.0 we reserve the right to request a qualifying exam score upon acceptance to the program.
We typically offer graduate teaching and research assistantships and award over $100,000 in scholarships to graduate accounting students annually.
Applications are accepted year-round. Applicants should plan to apply within two to three months from the start of the semester. The fall semester begins in late August, the spring semester begins in late January and the summer semester begins in late May. International applicants should apply at least six months before they wish to begin the program.
Yes, up to nine credit hours from an accredited university may qualify for transfer to Kansas State University. Contact your academic advisor with questions.
If your GPA is below 3.0 you can be admitted on probation. You will have 9 credit hours (3 classes) to achieve and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Let us review your transcript and offer you guidance by emailing gradbusiness@ksu.edu if you fit this category.
This program does not require a thesis, but you must complete 30 credit hours with a 3.0 GPA to receive the degree.
