Internal Sales Competitions
The National Strategic Selling Institute hosts 6+ internal sales competitions per academic year for our students to compete in. Competition partners include Basys, Edward Jones, Huhtamaki, Lockton, Mylo, and Shamrock Trading Corporation. Because of generous donations from our partners thousands of dollars are awarded each semester to the student winners in merit scholarships.
Basys Sales Competition
The National Strategic Selling Institute is excited to host our annual Basys Sales Competition on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in the NSSI Suite (2121 Business Building).

Eligibility
All full-time students enrolled in the certificate or major in Professional Strategic Selling are eligible to compete.
Registration
If you are intersted in competing, the registration deadline is October 9, 2024. Registration is limited to the first 24 students that complete the registration form below. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Edward Jones Sales Competition
The National Strategic Selling Institute hosts the Edward Jones Sales Competition twice per academic year each fall and spring semester. In this fictional role-play scenario, students will represent Edward Jones Financial Advisors. Your objective for this sales call is to set up a second appointment with the prospects to get them to agree to use you and Edward Jones for financial advising services, and to discuss more specific retirement goals and investments.
Because you will not be selling a particular financial product you should sell Edward Jones as a reputable, trustworthy firm and yourself as a representative of that firm. Eligibility
All full-time students enrolled in the College of Business or College of Health and Human Sciences are eligible to compete.
Fall 2024 Compeition Registration
Date: Friday, September 27, 2024
Registration Deadline is Friday, September 19, 2024.

Spring 2025 Compeition Registration
Date: Friday, February 28, 2025

Huhtamaki Sales Competition
The National Strategic Selling Institute is excited to host our annual Huhtamaki Sales Competition on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in the NSSI Suite (2121 Business Building). In this fictional role-play scenario, students will represent Huhtamaki Sales Reps. Your objective for this sales call is to set up a second appointment with the prospects to get them to agree to use Huhtamaki for their food's packaging.

Shamrock Trading Corporation Sales Competition
The National Strategic Selling Institute is excited to host our annual K-State Sales Team Tryouts sponsored by Shamrock Trading Corporation. The tryouts are scheduled to take place the week of April 23, 2025, and all events will be held at the College of Business at Kansas State University.
