PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Career Summit is hosted by the Center for Principled Business at Kansas State University, for current high school students, college students, and business professionals. The Summit provides an opportunity for personal and professional development for current college students as they prepare to move into the workforce and connects successful alumni with high school and college women to offer mentoring, networking, and learning opportunities.
SPEAKERS
- Morning Keynote Speaker – Kristine Davis ('15), NASA Space Suit Engineer
Kristine Davis is a 2015 graduate of K-State and earned her bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in leadership studies. Since 2016, Kristine has been working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration as an advanced space suit engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center. Her focus is advanced pressure garment technology.

- Afternoon Keynote Speaker - Jeanette Hernandez Prenger, Founder and CEO, ECCO Select
Jeanette Hernandez Prenger is the Founder and CEO of ECCO Select, an IT solution services, talent acquisition, and advisory consulting company. She leverages her expertise to develop innovative solutions that help businesses strengthen operations, revenue, profitability, and competitive advantages. She has put these skills into practice at ECCO Select since she started the company in 1995. ECCO Select is a leading provider of technology talent for Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies, with offices in Kansas City, MO, Washington, D.C., and Dallas, TX.

REGISTRATION & SCHEDULE
This year, the morning and early afternoon is reserved for high school students. All attendees will be invited to attend the lunch and keynote presentation by Jeanette Hernandez Prenger. College student sessions will be in the afternoon. Community members, corporate sponsors, and faculty and staff are encouraged to join lunch and afternoon sessions.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to the generous support from K-State alumni and friends, the Kansas State College of Business will be awarding several scholarships at the Women in Business Career Summit. Scholarships can be used for students to apply toward any class offered through the K-State College of Business. College students and high school seniors are encouraged to apply. The application must be complete by November 9, 2023.

Parking is available in the K-State parking garage at 706 N Martin Luther King Jr Drive, Manhattan, KS. Please find instructions below for the new parking app K-State is using.
