International Women's Day
International Women's Day 2022
The College of Business is partnering with organizations and colleges across campus to celebrate International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8 from 10:30 to 1:30 PM in the Business Building Atrium. This year's IWD global theme is #BreakTheBias.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.
Marked annually on March 8th, International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to:
- celebrate women's achievements
- raise awareness about women's equality
- lobby for accelerated gender parity
- fundraise for female-focused organizations
Started by a graduate student in Architecture, Planning, and Design, this idea has stemmed into a campus-wide event where women-focused student organizations to come together to network, educate, and #BreakTheBias.
Stop by for activities, networking, and food! All students, staff, and faculty members are welcome to participate.
