K-State Accelerator

Are you an aspiring student entrepreneur with a great idea looking to take the next step? Or have you already started a business and are ready to scale? The Center for Entrepreneurship Accelerator program is here to help!

The Accelerator provides student entrepreneurs access to world-class K-State faculty, students, and alumni support to help launch or grow their business. The accelerator now provides two separate tracks.

The idea track:

• Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs with a great idea but have yet to validate market demand or generate sales.
• 6-week in-person program with one one-hour in-person meeting weekly.
• Participating entrepreneurs will receive:
  • Custom startup lessons designed and delivered by top K-State faculty
  • Access to student consultants or research teams (optional)
  • Access to scholarship dollars for top-performing venture ideas

The growth track:

• Designed for innovative startups who have generated some sales but are still in its early stage, or startups with proven business models looking to strengthen their competitive position.
• 8-week program
• Participating entrepreneurs will receive:
  • Online workshops designed and delivered by top K-State faculty
  • Access to student consultants or research teams
  • Access to a world-class K-State alumni mentor network
  • Access to scholarship dollars for top-performing venture ideas

Spring 2026 Application Timeline

Growth Track Timeline:
1/20/26 - Applications open
2/4/26 - Priority application review begins
3/11/26 - Final application deadline
Entrepreneurs will receive program status and start dates by email on a rolling basis.

Idea Track Timeline:
2/2/26 - Applications open
3/2/26 - Applications close
Applications will be reviewed and selected by spring break.
3/23/26 - Program starts
5/1/26 - Program ends
