Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge (KEC)

The Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge (KEC) is sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation and Kansas Masons in partnership with Kansas State University and the Network Kansas Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Series to promote entrepreneurship and small business development in Kansas. The competition is for student created, managed, and owned ventures. Thousands in cash prizes are awarded to student entrepreneurs each year!

Kansas High School Investment Competition

The Kansas High School Investment Competition, hosted by Kansas State University College of Business’ Department of Finance, is an event that invites all Kansas High School students to compete and learn about stock investing. The purpose of the competition is to teach students about investing while competing for K-State scholarships.

Women in Business

The Center for Principled Business hosted over 400 high school students, college students, educators, industry professionals, and alumni, at the inaugural Women in Business Career Summit in October 2021.

We are looking forward to inviting high school students to campus during K-State's annual Open House, for more opportunies to engage with K-State students and faculty members, engage in hands-on activities, and explore career opportunities for Women in Business. More details coming soon!

College of Business Summer Institute

Join the K-State College of Business in its first-ever summer institute for high school students! This program is designed for high school sophomores and juniors who are interested in learning more about opportunities in the business world and about all that the College of Business has to offer future K-State students. Students will participate in workshops, experience our residence halls, dining centers, and recreation opportunities, while learning from College of Business faculty and staff.
