Digital Marketing Intern – K-State Extension
K-State Extension’s Communications Solutions unit is seeking a digital media student specialist to aid the team in social media marketing and assisting with website projects. Social Media Intern – Briggs Auto
Briggs Auto is seeking a Social Media Intern for their auto dealerships across Manhattan, Topeka, and Fort Scott. This position will be based out of Manhattan but mostly remote. The responsibilities include creating and scheduling engaging social media content for dealerships that highlight inventory, special offers, services, events, and community involvement, creating video content for all channels, tracking performance and analytics, and more. The graduate student for the Military Affiliated Resource Center (M.A.R.C.) ensures excellent customer service to the military affiliated population on campus and nurtures relationships with university and community partners. CBA Outstanding Senior and Commencement Speaker
Congratulations to Katie Albertson for being selected as the recipient of the CBA Outstanding Graduating Senior Award and to Noah Biswell for being selected as the Student Commencement Speaker.

Katie Albertson, a native of Stilwell, KS, is the daughter of Sam and Deanne Albertson. While an undergraduate, Katie has demonstrated exceptional academic achievements by maintaining a 3.89 while pursuing dual majors in Organizational Management and Human Resource Management, a certificate in Data Analytics, and a graduate certificate in Conflict Resolution. Katie will begin law school beginning in Fall 2026.

Her leadership and involvement across campus have made a lasting impact. Katie has served in numerous roles, including Attorney General, Student Governing Association; Director of Internal Relations, Pre-Law Ambassadors; Vice President of Membership, Women in Business; and Director of the Mentorship Program, Menards Family Scholars.

Katie has been selected repeatedly to represent the College of Business in highly visible settings and consistently exemplifies professionalism, poise, and integrity. Her leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to service have had a meaningful and lasting impact on the CBA community. In its recommendation, the student-led Outstanding Graduating Senior Selection Committee noted: “Katie stands out for her exceptional balance of academics, leadership, and impact across the College of Business.”

Noah Biswell, originally from Overland Park, KS, is the son of Jeremy and Brandi Biswell. Noah is earning a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and will join Meridian Business in Overland Park as an IT Consultant following graduation.

During his undergraduate experience, Noah has been deeply engaged in leadership and service, including roles as Business Ambassador; President, Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization; and Student Mobilization Leader. He also participated in a global service initiative, working with fellow K-State students to refurbish laptops for students in Guatemala and traveling abroad to assist with their delivery.

Noah is a skilled communicator and creative professional, with strengths in graphic design, audio/visual storytelling, and programming languages including JavaScript, C#, SQL, and Python, as well as data an AI tools. As a student leader, he is known for his energy, vision, work ethic, and ability to engage and motivate others. One nominated shared: “I am confident that Noah will deliver a message that is meaningful, relatable, and reflective of the excellence of the Class of 2026.”

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is now accepting applications for its Fall 2026 SEC Scholars Internship Program. Applications are open until April 16, 2026. CBA Student Assistant – Apply by 4/6
The College of Business Career Development (CD) team is seeking student employees to join us for the Fall 2026 semester. Student workers provide support for CD programming, including but not limited to the GENBA 205 Career Accelerator course, Career Coaching, and Executive Mentor programs. This role manages the Career Development front desk by monitoring the email account, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and providing support and marketing materials for other CD events and activities. Additionally, you will assist with other events and activities, as needed (may include some optional evening or weekend work hours, but very limited). Income Tax Assistance – Available until 4/15
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax preparation for low to moderate income households and active or retired miliary. They cannot prepare returns for businesses or international students. This site prepares simple IRS 1040 income tax returns and state tax returns by appointment. Appointments can be made through April 15 by calling 785-565-6426, emailing vitataxes@gmail.com, or online. Internship Connection Program – KS Bankers
The Kansas Bankers Association Internship Connection Program connects in-state college students with a KBA member bank for a paid summer internship in banking. During a summer internship, interns will receive many hands-on learning opportunities and work-related experiences to learn about community banking and the industry. The Mortar Board Honor Society Outstanding Student Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students who exemplify the three pillars of of Mortar Board National College Honors: scholarship, leadership and service. The 2026 KSU Student Government Association Generation Election will start on Tuesday, February 24^th at 8:00am and end on Wednesday, February 25^th. Stock Pitch Challenge – Register by 2/27
The Department of Finance invites all K-State students to put their stock analysis skills to the test with $11k in prize money on the line in the new K-State Gates Capital Management Stock Pitch Competition. Koch Scholarship – Apply by 3/1
The Koch Accounting & Finance Scholarship recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate strong analytical ability, integrity, and a contribution mindset. The $3,000 scholarship can be applied towards tuition, fees or other educational expenses for students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. Blue Key Honor Society – Apply by 2/12
Blue Key Senior Honorary is a prestigious group of campus leaders that stresses excellence in academics, dedication to service, and continual leadership both on and off campus. Members of Blue Key get opportunities to facilitate workshops, teach a Catalyst class, and mentor freshmen in the Quest Freshman Honorary, among other high-impact activities. Join ‘Cats Connect – Register by 2/3!
‘Cats Connect is a peer-facilitated program designed to build social networks and community across campus, fostering student belonging, inclusion, and well-being through five, one-hour connection sessions. You will get to know other members in a small group through fun and thought-provoking questions. The first session begins the week of February 9^th, with registration closing February 3^rd. The second session begins the week of March 30^th, with registration closing March 24^th. Studnets who are interested in participating can learn more or register online.
