Research Goals

Tareque Nasser’s research interest is, broadly, in the areas of corporate finance and governance, and investments. Particularly his research examines various issues related to corporate governance, insider trading, mergers and acquisitions and IPOs. As an academic, he is passionate about understanding the inner workings of corporations, their decision making process and incentives, which ultimately contributes to the successes and failures of corporations. His research addresses and informs both the academic and practitioners through presentations and publications of his research papers. He also incorporates his research in his teaching.
