U.S. News & World Report Ranks K-State’s PMBA Program in Top 10 Nationally Among Public Universities
The online Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) program at Kansas State University was recently announced as 12th in the nation and 9th among public universities by U.S. News and World Report’s 2023 Best Online MBA Programs. Nearly 350 programs were eligible for consideration this year. The program also ranks 13th nationally for veterans. These rankings are the highest achieved since the program was established in 2013.
“The quality of our professional MBA program coupled with its affordability has proven to be a winning combination leading to the dramatic rise in the national ranking,” said Kevin Gwinner, Edgerley Family Dean of Business at Kansas State University. “The individualized attention our students receive from program faculty and staff is something other programs cannot duplicate and makes an enormous impact on student success in the online environment. Academic success translates to higher levels of professional success enjoyed by our graduates.”
With a focus on management education, the online MBA program offers students the opportunity to earn concentrations and graduate certificates simultaneously with their degree. The ongoing development of micro-credentialing and badge programs makes it possible for individuals to upskill to meet the demands of a more metric-driven work environment, giving them a competitive edge.
“The College of Business is currently developing a micro-credential program which will add value to the PMBA program. The introduction of micro-credentialing and badging opportunities for our current students and our industry partners will further enhance the educational and professional opportunities available to graduate program and executive education participants,” said Chwen Sheu, associate dean for academic programs and Faculty of Distinction/Paul Edgerley chair in Business.
The program has a rolling admission with five starts each year in January, March, June, August and October. Applications are due at least one month before the desired start date. To learn more about the program or to apply, visit www.k-state.edu/onlinemba or contact Suzy Auten, director, PMBA.
