College of Business Receives Diversity Award

The College of Business recently received the Kansas State University Outstanding Department or Unit Award for Enhancing Diversity.

Established in 2003, the award recognizes exceptional efforts undertaken by a unit or department to enhance diversity at K-State. Under the college’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Strategic Plan, the college strives for inclusive recruitment of students and faculty/staff. The college also has three programs and initiatives that were created in the last academic year:

• The Rise Up Program
• The Women in Business Initiative
• The new Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in Business undergraduate certificate program.
