Sales Ambassadors 

The Sales Ambassador organization is a group of students who are selected to serve the National Strategic Selling Institute. These students will be a diverse group of seniors, juniors, and sophomores selected on a semester basis with applications accepted once per semester. 

Summary of Sales Ambassador Organization
As a Sales Ambassador, you will be required to attend bi-weekly meetings during the course of the semester. These meetings will provide you with knowledge on the K-State Sales Program and the National Strategic Selling Institute as well as professional development opportunities. 

Your primary responsibilities will be to assist in the retention of current students and the recruitment of prospective students into the K-State Sales Program, help manage relationships with our Corporate Partners and prospect companies for the National Strategic Selling Institute, and volunteer at events and activities hosted on campus by the National Strategic Selling Institute. 

Selection Criteria
In order to be selected you must have a 3.00 or higher GPA, be accepted into the Certificate in Professional Strategic Selling or the Major in Professional Strategic Selling, and have completed one semester at Kansas State University. You can apply to be a Sales Ambassador and the Certificate in Professional Strategic Selling or the Major in Professional Strategic Selling in the same semester. 

If you currently serve as a Sales Ambassador, you must apply every semester if you wish to renew your membership in the organization for the upcoming semester. Preference will be given to those Sales Ambassadors that make an effort and have a positive impact on the organization. 

Application Deadline
Completed applications are due Friday, November 1, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. Interviews may be required. All students will be notified by Friday, November 15, 2019, on the status of their application.

Mandatory Meeting
If accepted into the organization, you will be expected to attend a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. in 3082 Business Building.
