Entrepreneurship Scholarships

The Howe Fellowship is a two-year fellowship for a student majoring or minoring in Entrepreneurship. The ideal time to apply is in the student's sophomore year.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a major or minor in entrepreneurship

Amount: $10,000

• $2,500 per semester (4 total semesters=$10,000)

How to Apply:

Interested students should submit a cover letter that includes their major and minor, along with a one-page resume and responses to the following three questions:

• What entrepreneurial experiences have you had, and what did you learn from them?
• What are your long-term entrepreneurial goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?
• What specific skills and experiences do you hope to gain at K-State, and how will they support your entrepreneurial journey?

Priority review of applications begins March 1, 2025. Completed applications should be emailed to entrepreneur@ksu.edu with "Howe Fellowship" in the subject line.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a major or minor in entrepreneurship
• Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
• Preference given to students who have participated in business idea competitions or have a developed business plan

Amount:

• $2,500 per semester
• The scholarship is renewable up to 4 years as long as the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA and is an entrepreneurship major or minor.

The Kuenzi Family Exploring Entrepreneurship Scholarship provides financial support for students interested in taking an entrepreneurship course. This scholarship is open to students from all majors who want to explore entrepreneurship and innovation.

Requirements:

• Enroll in an entrepreneurship course during Fall 2025

Amount:

• $1,000 scholarship applied toward tuition
• 50 scholarships available

The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Minor Scholarship awards $1,000 to selected students who demonstrate a passion for innovation, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation minor

Amount:

• $1,000 scholarship applied toward tuition
