About Shonda

Shonda is originally from Augusta, KS. In 2002 she earned her bachelor's degree in Family Studies and went on to earn her masters in Adult, Occupational and Continuing Education in 2004 both from K-State. While at K-State she worked in athletics as an athletic counselor until 2005 before joining the College of Business Administration as an academic advisor. In 2007 she moved to Warrensburg, MO. While there she spent 7 years as an academic advisor for the University of Central Missouri Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies before moving into athletics as the athletic academic and compliance coordinator for the last 10 years. This fall Shonda is returning the K-State College of Business advising team.

Shonda and her husband Scott have two boys who are active in sports and loves attending not only their events, but K-State, KC Royals and Chiefs events as well.
