About Marlyn

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Mass Communication at Kansas State University, with an expected graduation in 2026. Before transitioning into my current role, I worked in large-scale event planning for both Kansas State University and the University of Kansas Office of Admissions.

I’m passionate about working with students and enjoy helping them discover strategies for academic and personal success. Outside of work, you can usually find me taking walks with my golden retriever puppy, curled up with a good book, or in the kitchen trying new recipes alongside my husband.
