Advising Assistants

During the fall and spring semesters, CBA Advising Assistants are available to:

  • Answer basic questions about requirements for the College of Business academic programs
  • Explain how to use KSIS and DARS for academic navigation and planning
  • Provide information about tips for enrollment and scheduling of courses
  • Help students draft a long range plan for the business program
  • Share information about college activities and student clubs
  • Provide information about College of Business and K-State resources and offices

Note: Advising Assistants can't lift

Monday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (out of office from 2:00-3:00pm)
Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
AAs are not available on Fridays

Hi! My name is Summer Murphy and I am from Kansas City, MO. I am currently a junior and plan to graduate May of 2025. I am majoring in Finance and minoring in Statistics with a certificate in Data Analytics. I am a Finance Scholar and a Rise Up Scholar. I am also involved in the Multicultural Business Student Association and the Student Governing Association.

Hello! My name is Reese Reitz and I am from Louisburg, KS. I am currently a second year here planning to graduate in May of 2025 with a major in Entrepreneurship and a designation in Pre-Law. I am a member of the Menard Family Scholars Program as well as Business Ambassadors, CEO Club, an Athletic Tutor, and an Advising Assistant! I currently own a small business as well. I love all things business and I am excited to aid you all as an advising assistant! Go Cats!

Hi! I'm Erin Rule. I'm a sophomore majoring in Accounting and Criminology and planning to graduate with my Master of Accountancy in December 2027. I'm from Lawrence, KS (but fully a Wildcat :)), and I was a member of the Menard Family Scholars Program in my first year here.
