Following a welcome from Kevin Gwinner, Edgerly Family Dean, Randy Buseman '77, provided commencement remarks. Mr. Buseman retired as a partner at Ernst & Young in 2014. Since his retirement from Ernst & Young, Buseman has served on the boards of or as a consultant to several technology and health services companies. He also serves on the College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council and the Accounting Advisory Council at Kansas State University and the boards of InvestMidwest and the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, among others. Mr. Buseman earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from K-State in 1977, majoring in accounting. He was inducted into the Accountancy Hall of Fame at K-State in 2004.

Other featured speakers were Parker Dyro, who was named Outstanding Senior in Business and Kaylee Hanson, was the student commencement speaker.
