Professional Education

The K-State College of Business Administration Professional Education seminars enhance the leadership and business knowledge of professionals on applied business concepts. Speakers and programs are carefully selected and provide professionals with knowledge and skills to move their careers forward. The College offers these seminars through the academic year in different business disciplines, including sales, entrepreneurship and finance.

"The Managing Effort program offers such tremendous value. The workshop I attended offered a great sales management coaching system that can be implemented easily, and with great results. Based on my experience, I am completely changing how I teach sales and sales management to our K-State undergraduates. By experiencing this program, our students will not only improve their abilities to be effective managers, but also become better salespeople by understanding how to manage their own effort."
-- Dawn Deeter, J.J.Vanier Distinguished Professor and Director, K-State National Strategic Selling Institute

"I was able to have a connection with my team members, to develop them as self managers. As a result we had our best month ever in August!"
-- Karl Kunz, State Farm Agent, Manhattan, Kan.

"I have the coaching process in place where my sales guys are taking the initiative and setting their own expectations and taking responsibility for their sales. This takes the stress off so I can manage at a higher level."
-- Joe Barker, Outsource Solutions Sales Manager, CH Robinson, Overland Park, Kan.
