Brad earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master’s in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in the same program. Brad has been published on three occasions in materials produced by the NACADA the Global Community for Academic Advising. He has presented at a number of different NACADA and K-State National, Regional, and local University conferences. In 2013 was recognized as the Kansas State Bank Advisor of the Year.
Growing up as an “Army brat” in a military family, Brad’s father was a career soldier and served much of his active duty service at Fort Riley, Kansas. This connection to the military helps Brad understand the challenges faced by students and family members that are attending K-State that have their own military experiences.
Brad and his wife have two young children, a boy and a girl, and are blessed to have many family members from both sides of the family living here in the Manhattan area. In his spare time, Brad enjoys many different activities including: K-State sports, online computer games, amateur woodworking, and spending time with family and friends.
