About Katie

Katie grew up in Manhattan, KS and graduated from MHS. She went on to college at Oberlin College in Ohio where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Dance. During undergrad Katie co-coreographed a 30 minute dance piece that set her on track to begin taking on leadership positions. She lived in several major cities in the U.S. after college and was a manager at Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods for a number of years. She now works full time and is working towards her Master’s degree in Academic Advising.

Katie currently lives with her boyfriend and dog and enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and taking long walks with her dog. She also enjoys a good movie night with her boyfriend.
