Faculty-led Trips

International study is one of the initiatives of the College of Business Administration. Several faculty members in the college take students on guided trips abroad. These trips are focused on

  • visiting foreign companies,
  • multinational corporation and
  • networking with Americans working abroad, many of them K-State alumni.

These trips are usually part of a course and require not only your attendance, but also course work before and after the trip. Faculty-led trips are usually

  • taken during the winter and spring breaks and
  • last for 10 to 15 days, and
  • have a space limit to maximize everyone's experience.

Faculty-led trips are a great way to initiate your experiences abroad, as you will be accompanied by a faculty member and other business students. They are also great for those students who are interested in a career abroad, as the networking opportunities these trips offer are invaluable.

In the past, faculty have led trips to Europe, Asia and South America. New trips are planned every semester, each different than the previous one.
