What we can do for you

For Students: If you are interested in technology and management, want an opportunity to connect with employers and learn new technical skills, and want to gain leadership experience while working in small groups, we are the club for you!

For Employers: We provide multiple opportunities each semester to meet directly with MIS students, share information about your company, career paths, and employment opportunities. If your business is interested in hosting one of our monthly meetings, attending our fall Career Fair club social, or simply sharing an employment opportunity with our club members, please contact us at misclub@ksu.edu.

Join our e-mail listserv
If the KSU MIS Club sounds like the club for you, then join our email listserv! The MIS Club Member listserv will provide you with current information about our meetings, as well as updates on employment, training, and internship opportunities. To join, contact the KSU MIS Club at misclub@ksu.edu.

Member requirements
Due to generous support from our business partners, the KSU MIS Club does not require a membership fee from those who attend our meetings. In return, we ask that our members come prepared to listen, learn, and ask questions. The students who attend our meetings are most often MIS and CS majors, but it is not a requirement. If you are passionate about technology or want to learn more, you are just the kind of student we are looking for to join our club.

Scholarships
During each spring semester, the KSU MIS Club also typically has multiple scholarship opportunities available. We begin our scholarship application process in March of each year. Awards are typically announced at our April meeting. Awards are made based on many factors including club involvement, scholastic achievement, participation in club projects, and involvement in related outside projects. The amount and availability of awards change each semester and depend on support from our business partners. Some scholarships may have requirements beyond club membership.
