Kansas State University's College of Business Administration is recognized as a top business school. The college was ranked as the 39th best public undergraduate business school in the country by Bloomberg Businessweek magazine in 2016. As part of that ranking, corporate recruiters ranked K-State among the top 30 best business schools to hire from based on the quality of our graduates.
The college is one of the less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide to hold accreditation from the AACSB. It is one of the less than 10 percent of those to hold separate AACSB accreditation for its accounting programs.
Our unique business student shadowing program for high school juniors and seniors pairs you with current business students, giving you the opportunity to experience what your life would be like if you were a K-State business student. During the day-long program, you will attend classes, meet with faculty and network with a business leader, all while spending time with current students who will answer every question you may have about our programs, life in Manhattan and the college experience at K-State.

We offer six undergraduate majors; accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management and management information systems. You may also be interested in earning a specialization in an area of business with our certificate programs in international business or integrated investment management. We also offer minors in general business and entrepreneurship. For distance education students, we offer a general business bachelor’s degree.
Five graduate programs are available through the College of Business Administration; we offer a master of business administration (MBA), master of accounting (MAcc), professional master of business administration (PMBA), as well as graduate certificates in business administration and organizational leadership.
Our MBA program has been recognized by the Aspen Institute for the inclusion of ethics, social and environmental content in the curriculum, and is ranked 59 in the world by the institute’s Beyond Grey Pinstripes.
The college, however, offers more than just great academic programs. We believe that Every Student Can Succeed, and whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, here you can develop your talents to make a difference in the world. We help connect students with experienced business professionals with our Executive Mentor Program. Additionally students learn valuable skills, not necessarily taught in any classroom, by attending events sponsored by our Professional Advantage Program. Many of or students complete one or more internships, which paired with our academic and extra curricular opportunities allows for the success of our students. Data collected from our 2012-13 graduates, show that 81 percent are employed and 15 percent are furthering their education (based on the graduates who responded, 78 percent) The range of salaries reported is $39,623-$52,777
