College of Business Administration

Your Child's Success
This section is designed especially for parents of prospective and current K-State business students. Because the success of your child is incredibly important to you, we would like to provide any information that might be helpful in assisting in your child's success as a K-State business student.

Throughout this section, you can learn more about our College that is rich with history and tradition. You can read more about our programs that are taught by award-winning faculty with a curriculum guided by outstanding business executives to ensure that not only will your child get a top-notch education, but will also get a great job after graduation.

Parent Rights
As a parent, you have the right to access your student's educational record until your son or daughter turns 18 or attends an institution of higher education, at which point, complete rights are shifted to the student.

What We Can Disclose
As a university, we are only able to disclose directory information (student's name, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, honors and awards, and dates of attendance) without the consent of the student.

All other information remains private unless the student chooses to allow someone else to access. A student may complete a Release Form, available in the Student Success Center, to allow you, as a parent, to have more complete access to his or her academic record.
