Why choose the College of Business Administration

The College of Business Administration is recognized as a top business school. For the second consecutive year it has made Bloomberg Businessweek magazine’s list of top undergraduate business programs. Corporate recruiters ranked the college No. 22 in the country based on the university’s graduates, innovative curricula and effective career services. The college also made the list of U.S. News and World Report’s best undergraduate business programs in 2010, and it’s one of only about 10 percent of the nation’s business schools to hold accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for all business and accounting programs.

There are six undergraduate majors offered at the college; accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management and management information systems. Here you will also be able to specialize in an area of interest with our certificate programs in international business and integrated investment management. We also offer a minor in business and a general business bachelor's degree for distance education students.

We have four graduate programs, our master of business administration (MBA) and master of accountancy (MAcc), as well as graduate certificates in business administration and organizational leadership

Our MBA program has been recognized by the Aspen Institute for the inclusion of ethics, social and environmental content in the curriculum, and it is number 59 in the world in its Beyond Grey Pinstripes ranking.

The college, however, offers more than great programs. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, at the College of Business Administration you can develop your talents to make a difference in the world. You’ll help people, change the future and inspire others. Kansas State University’s College of Business Administration offers challenging and rewarding programs no matter your interest.

We have an extensive network of alumni and corporate partners, which allows K-Staters to transition confidently from the classroom to the workplace thanks to real-world internships they obtain long before graduation. Our graduates are prepared to make big decisions in the boardroom that are socially responsible, because our program has deep roots in business ethics.
