Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship
The Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship works to enhance the entrepreneurial environment at K-State and throughout Kansas. Our programs are designed to provide a superior academic experience for all
K-State students and to deliver key support to Kansas entrepreneurs.
Major in Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship powers the American and global economies and is focused on opportunity recognition, creativity and innovation. This fast growing field gives students the knowledge and skills to turn their ideas into reality whether working for an existing organization or through a new venture.
Minor in Entrepreneurship
The minor in entrepreneurship provides students with the knowledge and skills to pursue entrepreneurial activity in whatever career field you wish to pursue. The 15-credit hour minor is a great opportunity for any K-State student to develop these important skills for professional success.
The Launch program, open to all K-State students, is an annual entrepreneurial idea competition. The competition provides students the training and resources to develop a new business idea and compete for prizes.
Entrepreneurship Speaker Series
The entrepreneurship speaker series provides students the opportunity to learn from successful entrepreneurs from a variety of industries.
The Venture Accelerator provides business support services to promising student ventures in the early development stages. The accelerator, open to students from all majors, is designed to take learning beyond the walls of the classroom to enable students to combine their knowledge and passion to create a business.
