Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship
The Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship works to enhance the entrepreneurial environment at K-State and throughout Kansas. Our programs are designed to provide a superior academic experience for all K-State students and to deliver key support to Kansas entrepreneurs.
Major in Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship powers the American and global economies and is focused on opportunity recognition, creativity and innovation. This fast growing field gives students the knowledge and skills to turn their ideas into reality whether working for an existing organization or through a new venture.
Minor in Entrepreneurship
The minor in entrepreneurship provides students with the knowledge and skills to pursue entrepreneurial activity in whatever career field you wish to pursue. The 15-credit hour minor is a great opportunity for any K-State student to develop these important skills for professional success.
Non-Credit Certificate in Entrepreneurship
The Non-credit Certificate in Entrepreneurship is a series of online, self-paced short courses on topics to help entrepreneurs learn the basics of how to launch and grow a business.
The Entrepreneurship Club’s purpose is to inspire and connect K-State students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. The club hosts opportunities such as K-State Launch, the Entrepreneurship Speaker Series and Wildcat Consulting, as well as many additional opportunities for students to network and prepare for an entrepreneurial career.
Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge
The Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge is sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation and Kansas Masons in partnership with Kansas State University and the Network Kansas Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Series to promote entrepreneurship and small business development in Kansas. The competition is for student created, managed, and owned ventures.
