Financial Management Association
The Financial Management Association National Honor Society was established in 1974 to encourage and reward scholarship and achievement in finance between undergraduate and graduate students at colleges throughout the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain.
Fall 2015 Meeting Times
The Financial Management Association will meet on the following dates and places with a social at 6:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 7 p.m.:
- September 1 - Kedzie 004
- September 15 - Cottonwood Room
- September 22 - Flint Hills Discovery Center (Career Fair Social) *This meeting will be from 4-6 PM
- October 6 - Cottonwood Room
- October 27 - Cottonwood Room
- November 8 - Cottonwood Room
Requirements for Membership
The minimum qualification for membership in the FMA national Honor Society is a 3.25 grade point average overall and a 3.25 grade point average in all finance and finance-related coursework (on a 4.0 scale). Undergraduate students must be in either their junior or senior years, and graduate students must have completed at least one-half of their required coursework. Graduate student gpa's must be at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
