Executive Mentor Program and
College of Business Connect
Started in 2011, the Executive Mentor Program brings students, young alumni, and alumni/friends of the College of Business together in a formal, professional mentoring relationship. Mentors and mentees communicate regularly and establish goals for the mentorship that support the mentee’s career goals. Mentors provide mentees with valuable advice, serve as a sounding board, share significant experiences, and provide constructive feedback.
College of Business Connect is the web-based mentoring and networking platform that houses the Executive Mentor Program and expands its reach. College of Business Connect provides a virtual space for students, faculty & staff, and alumni & friends of the K-State College of Business to connect with each other based on mutual interests and help topics. Each user chooses their level of engagement and availability for networking and/or mentoring.
What are the requirements to join?
Any alumni or friend of the College of Business Administration who is willing to share their time and experience with students, faculty & staff, or other alumni may join College of Business Connect.
To become an Executive Mentor, one must have at least seven (7) years of professional business experience and be willing to commit to regular communication and support of their mentee.
