In 2012, the College of Business Administration at Kansas State University hosted the inaugural C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk to benefit Shepherd’s CrossingThis event was established to honor the college’s first dean, C. Clyde Jones.  

The 2014 C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk will be held on September 13, 2014.  The event is open to the community with race routes set throughout the campus in increments of 1 mile and 5K.  Individuals of all ages and abilities will be able to participate.  The CBA Business Ambassadors will lead this event with all proceeds to benefit Shepherd’s Crossing.

Event sponsors are being sought.  As a sponsor, we will list your organization on our website and in our publicity materials.  Our highest level sponsors will enjoy booth space in the starting area on race day to interact with the participants and spectators. 

Please review the sponsorship form listing all sponsorship benefits.  We would appreciate your sponsorship response as soon as possible so that your donation can be acknowledged on all publicity materials.  Please complete the sponsorship form and fax to the attention of Melanie Horton at 785-532-7216 or mail to C. About the C. Clyde Run

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Kansas State University College of Business Administration in 1962, the college hosts the  "C. Clyde Run" Fun Run/Walk for charity in honor of the first college dean, C. Clyde Jones. 

Jones is a tireless volunteer to K-State and the Manhattan community. He is especially involved with the work of Shepherd's Crossing, a local ecumenical ministry that offers budget counseling, referrals, and financial support to residents in Riley County and St. George. The inaugural C. Clyde Run Fun Run took place in conjunction with K-State Family Day, September 15, 2012.

The event is open to the entire community with race routes set throughout the campus in increments of 1 mile and 5 K. Individuals of all ages and abilities will be able to participate. CBA Business Ambassadors will lead this event. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Shepherd's Crossing.
