C. Clyde Run: Sept. 28, 2013
In 2012, the College of Business Administration at Kansas State University hosted the inaugural C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk to benefit Shepherd’s Crossing. This event was established to honor the college’s first dean, C. Clyde Jones. The inaugural C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk was a great success! We had 200 racers and 48 sponsors at various levels, raising a total of $13,500 for Shepherd’s Crossing! In addition, we received $16,183.00 in total sponsorships including $5,593 in gifts-in-kind for t-shirts, food, and great prizes.
The 2013 C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk will be held on September 28, 2013. The event will be open to the community with race routes set throughout the campus in increments of 1 mile, 5K and 10K. Individuals of all ages and abilities will be able to participate. The CBA Business Ambassadors will lead this event with all proceeds to benefit Shepherd’s Crossing.
Event sponsors are being sought. As a sponsor, we will list your organization on our website and in our publicity materials. Our highest level sponsors will enjoy booth space in the starting area on race day to interact with the participants and spectators.
Please review the sponsorship form listing all sponsorship benefits. We would appreciate your sponsorship response as soon as possible so that your donation can be acknowledged on all publicity materials. Please complete the sponsorship form and fax to the attention of Chance Berndt at

Also, plan to run or walk in the annual event on September 28. Bring the entire family for a fun day of food, fun, and philanthropy. See the Runner Registration form and plan to enter! With your support, we are sure that this event will be an even greater success in educating our students about community involvement and assisting those throughout the community in financial need through the great work of Shepherd’s Crossing.
We hope you will join us as a sponsor, a runner/walker, or both for the second annual C. Clyde Run/Fun Run/Walk and help Shepherd’s Crossing to assist those in need. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
