Accreditation, Awards & Rankings
The College of Business Administration at Kansas State University is among an elite 10% of the approximately 1680 business schools and colleges in the nation to hold accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for all business and accounting programs.
As of April 2008, 459 of the 1680 business schools in the United States hold AACSB business accreditation (27%), of which 169 have additional specialized accreditation for their accounting programs (10%). The accounting program at K-State holds this prestigious accreditation.
The College of Business Administration has also been ranked as the number one business program in Kansas, and is also ranked by Bloomberg BusinessWeek magazine.
In addition, the MBA program at K-State is ranked 59 by The Aspen Institute in their Beyond Gray Pinstripes list for the inclusion of social, ethical and environmental content in class materials.
Kansas State University has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Associate of Colleges and Schools since 1916. The university participates through the Program to Evaluate and Advance Quality (PEAQ) process, and last underwent a comprehensive self-study and site visit during the 2001-2002 academic year.
